Professional Stage.
In the past, each soldier wore this type of patch, which indicated his profession and the level of knowledge he gained in the course. The straight red lines stands for the professional level. Each thin line equals one stage, while a thick line means the fifth stage. For example, the seventh stage is combined with a thick line and two thin lines under it.
